Sneakers are meant to be comfy. If they’re not, you aren’t wearing the right ones. However, I recently discovered a pair of sneakers that are so comfortable they beat out all of my other shoes. I slip them on like a sock, and they feel like I’m walking on air — I’m not even exaggerating. They are the APL Women’s TechLoom Bliss Shoes.
Now, I’m not going to lie; these shoes are pricey. They’re regularly $219.99. However, based on how they make my feet feel, they’re worth saving up for. Unfortunately, they almost never go on sale either — that is, until now.
APL TechLoom Bliss Shoes, $131.99 (Orig. $219.99)

Right now, you can find my favorite APL TechLoom Bliss Shoes for 40% off at DICK’S Sporting Goods in 10 different colors. I have an all-white pair, but I’m about to purchase a second pair in rose dust.
The TechLoom Bliss shoes are the brand’s only slip-on style and its lightest running shoe (6.8 ounces!). They have a sleek yet intricate woven upper, held together with an elastic band, and they have an extra cushioned midsole/outsole. According to the product description, the midsole features APL’s proprietary Propelium, a material that maximizes energy generation while providing comfort.
The thing is, all of APL’s sneakers feel amazing, whether you’re wearing them to walk your dog, go for a run or just kick it with your friends. APL (Athletic Propulsion Labs) defines itself as a luxury performance footwear brand, and it lives up to its mission. They’ll make you feel like you can run faster and farther; in fact, its shoes are even a little bit bouncy. But that’s kind of the goal. In 2010, APL was the first brand to have a shoe banned by the NBA.
You can get the shoes on APL’s website, but there are currently a few best-selling styles for women and men on sale at DICK’S Sporting Goods if you’re looking to save a buck. And if you’re like me, once you try them, you’ll be working to convince all of your friends how great they really are.
