Mom transforms ordinary bar cart into self-serve breakfast station for kids

This TikToker made an epic breakfast station for her kids so they can serve themselves in the morning!

Getting ready for the day can get busy, especially when you have kids. Fortunately, this clever idea from TikToker Shannon Doherty (@athomewithshannon) helps streamline your breakfast routine so you can make the most out of your mornings. Doherty is a busy parent who enjoys sharing fun activities and parenting hacks. One of Doherty’s videos features a DIY self-serve breakfast station for her kids, and it’s a morning mealtime game changer!

The clip begins with a shot of a turquoise kitchen cart decked out with all sorts of neatly organized breakfast goodies, followed by a montage illustrating how Doherty put the station together.

Two large cereal dispensers containing Apple Jacks and Cheerios are conveniently placed on one side of the cart. A repurposed ketchup bottle serves as a mess-free method for adding milk to a bowl of cereal.

Additionally, Doherty slices pieces of fruit before distributing them in plastic bags to keep them fresh. Rows of juice boxes and apple sauce pouches are immaculately arranged behind the bowl of sliced fruits on the bottom shelf of the cart.

The creative mom even includes a basket of blue paper napkins along with a cup of spoons so her kids can serve themselves independently.

A final shot of the breakfast station in its entirety reveals a colorful buffet that looks enjoyable for both kids and adults.

Viewers were blown away by Doherty’s incredible breakfast station.

“This is looking like a whole hotel breakfast over here,” mentioned one user.

“Bro, if I ate breakfast, I would want this so bad,” one TikToker noted.

“Adopt me, please,” joked one viewer.

“We. Need. The. Cereal. Dispensers,” one cereal lover adamantly declared.

Whether or not breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Doherty sure knows how to make it look inviting.
