Do teachers sleep at school? The age-old myth is getting new life, thanks to a teacher who shared his “genius” classroom bed on TikTok.

It’s all thanks to Mr. Hall (@bettercallhall), a popular TikToker who shares his life as a high school teacher. In a recent viral video, he showed off the incredible “hidden bed” he designed underneath his desk.

“Just a teacher enjoying his lunch break nap before the next class,” Mr. Hall captioned the video, which now has more than 12 million views.

In addition to getting millions of views, the clip also drew tons of excited reactions from viewers. Many called the design “genius” or “brilliant.”

“Every teacher needs this,” one user wrote.

“Of course it’s a history teacher, the cool ones always are,” another added.

“This is the best thing I’ve ever seen,” another praised.

Other commenters joked that the video was “evidence” that teachers really do live in their classrooms.

“Do they ever let you out of your classroom?” another joked.

Mr. Hall embraced all the commentary and even used the moment as a chance to give a full tour of his desk-bed combo.

As it turns out, there are plenty of secret details inside the desk. Mr. Hall set up lights, a built-in outlet and a mattress pad.

“I built this all myself last summer,” he said in the clip.
