If you love watching makeup and skincare videos on TikTok, you may have seen @danahasson and @bauerbeauty using a magical color-correcting treatment back in October 2020. The green cream instantly muted any redness, and their skin both looked absolutely flawless — no foundation needed.

The color-correcting cream is Dr. Jart+’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF30, and it went viral on TikTok in 2020.

Korean skincare brand, Dr. Jart+, makes skincare and makeup that addresses different skincare concerns, from acne to anti-aging to hydration.

Its Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment helps to soothe sensitive skin that may be inflamed or irritated. It also helps to improve skin’s strength and cell regeneration ability, according to the product description. It’s great for people with acne, rosacea or those who just to even out their skin tone.

However, the treatment is not a moisturizer. The instructions actually recommend applying your regular moisturizer first, then layering the color correcting treatment on top. It goes on matte-green but will turn to a beige hue that matches your skin. Once applied, your skill will feel soft and smooth with any redness reduced. Plus, it has an SPF30 for protecting your skin from the sun, which could cause more redness. *It’s like magic.*

I have skin with red and pink undertones and suffer from occasional small rosacea flare-ups on my cheeks. Needless to say, I wanted to try the Dr. Jart+ color-correcting treatment for myself, but so did millions of other people it seemed.

Shortly after seeing it on TikTok, I went to the nearest Sephora to get it for myself. Of course, I should have expected the product out of stock. A sales associate told me that I was about the tenth person who had asked for it that day after seeing it on social media.

But now, the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF30 is finally back in stock on Sephora’s website, and it’s available in two sizes. The 0.5-ounce jar retails for $18, while the 1.5-ounce jar costs $52. It’s not exactly cheap, but personally, I think a little goes a long way.

Yes, I recently get my hands on the color correcting treatment, and my verdict: This stuff really works! You can see in the picture below, on the left is my skin before and on the right is after using the treatment. (I’m not wearing any concealer, foundation, powder or any other makeup besides mascara.)

It’s has a pretty thick consistency, so I start with a dime size of the product and build on if I need more. On days when my skin is freaking out, I apply it all over. Other days, I use it to cover up a blemish or red spot as needed.

I love a no-makeup-makeup look, and the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF30 helps me do that. I hardly ever wear foundation now.

I’ve recommended the Dr. Jart+ color-correcting cream to friends as I am to you. But if you want to try it, get it fast before it sells out again.
