Organization is key, as are cleaning, storage, gardening and more. In this series, you’ll learn various tips and tricks to make gardening, grilling and even sewing easier. No matter the problem, there’s a Home Hack for that!

Eggs are a breakfast staple for a good reason: they’re high in protein, and inexpensive. But if you’re sick of eating eggs the same way every morning, give these hacks a try.

1. Make a waffle omelet

Crack a few eggs in a bowl and whisk them together with some of your favorite mix-ins. Add the egg mixture to a greased waffle iron and cook for two minutes or until the eggs are set. Top with leftover mix-ins and enjoy.

2. Remove eggshells on boiled eggs easier

Place 2–3 boiled eggs in a Mason jar with a little bit of water. Attach the lid and gently shake for 10–20 seconds. Your hard-boiled eggs will come out with the shells off, looking flawless.

3. Make perfectly poached eggs in a simmering whirlpool

Poached eggs are probably the most challenging egg-cooking method to nail, but this hack makes it easy. First, boil the egg for 10 seconds. Then, immediately crack the egg into a small bowl. Add vinegar to simmering water and stir to create a whirlpool effect. Toss egg into the water and cook for 1–2 minutes. Remove poached egg from the water with a wide slotted spoon.
