Evan Mock is a next-generation style icon who isn’t afraid to take a risk or two.
For Mock’s cover shoot for In The Know’s October digital cover, his stylist Taylor Okata pulled together three colorful racks of clothing full of enviable designer apparel — in addition to curating an overflowing table of accessories, jewelry and shoes for the Gossip Girl actor to pick through at the Brooklyn studio space.
In the end, the duo put together five different eye-catching looks for Mock’s cover shoot, including a neon green Moncler moment to die for, a Louis Vuitton silver trench and quilt moment and a head-to-toe Lanvin ensemble we couldn’t stop staring at.
Mock had a wide-ranging conversation with In The Know Consulting Editor-at-Large Elaine Welteroth for the accompanying cover story a few days later over Zoom, as he had since jetted off to Paris for Fashion Week. In it, they discussed everything from his skateboarding career to manifesting his success to writing down his celebrity interactions at last month’s Met Gala.
“I’m just super blessed and honored to represent being able to do anything that you wanna do,” Mock said. “And if you don’t skate, I hope I inspire you to take the trash out for your parents every Saturday or something. Like, just stay motivated.”
