Strength training has a lot of benefits, both mental and physical. But as you get stronger, you may want to add some form of resistance to increase the intensity of your workout, giving your muscles a new challenge. One easy way to do that is by using resistance bands.

You can use loop bands for a range of workouts, from yoga to pilates to physical therapy. Wear them around your quads to increase the intensity of your squats and glute bridges, or wear them around your wrists as you pull your arms away from each other to build arm strength.
These bands come in a pack of five, and each one has a different resistance level: extra light, light, medium, heavy and extra heavy. They’re color-coded and marked as such, so you always know exactly which level of resistance you’re working with. (They also come in two different colorways: multi-colored or a range of pink.)
