In honor of Black History Month, Nordstrom’s New Concepts collection is highlighting Black changemakers in the fashion world during the month of February. The curation is named Black_Space.

According to the retailer, “our latest shop presents a platform for designers, creatives and thought leaders across varied perspectives and experiences representing Black fashion.”

The space is curated by five Black creatives and features over 25 different Black-owned brands, including Botter, Coral Studios, Off-White and more.

Curator Harris Elliot says of the initiative: “This partnership means an awful lot to me because it’s an opportunity to marry culture and brand ideology in the same space. We have this phrase within my studio: ‘culture with compromise,’ and this collaboration feels like we can tell authentic Black stories at a level where nothing loses its essence.”

One up-and-coming brand that is a part of Black_Space is Full Court Sport. Marguerite Wade is the creative director and founder of the brand that is all about a court-to-street style look.

With pieces being sported everywhere from world-renowned tennis courts to the New York streets, this Portland-produced brand is wildly wearable. While you can shop everything from windbreakers to sports bras on the brand’s website, Full Court Sport’s Nordstrom offering is all athleisure.

Right now, you can shop a pair of joggers, two shirts and a hoodie from Full Court Sport on Nordstrom in chic and subdued shades of purple, blue and green. Whether you wear these styles to the gym or when running around town, you’re sure to be comfortable and stylish all day long. Shop the four styles that are currently available at Nordstrom below.
