‘This is what a full custody dad has to do’: Single dad goes viral for sweet hair routine with his little girl

A single dad captured what it’s like styling his daughter’s hair every morning, and the sweet footage is going viral.

Full-time girl dad and TikToker @thegrigsbyfamily gained over 9.8 million views and 26,000 comments when he uploaded the video to his account.

We’ve seen devoted dads go viral before — like the dad-to-be who was so invested in his wife’s pregnancy, he started developing his own hilarious second trimester symptoms — but this dad’s adorable hair routine is touching hearts all across TikTok.

In the video, @thegrigsbyfamily and his little girl are getting ready for the day by styling her wet hair.

But this single dad doesn’t simply brush his daughter’s hair and send her out the door.

Instead, he carefully and painstakingly brushes it out — and when she asks for an “Ariana Grande” ponytail, he happily obliges.

“Ain’t bad for a single dad!” he laughs as he admires his work.

Viewers were quick to notice the dad’s sweet attention to detail, and applauded his efforts in the comments.

“Love it!! Nicely done,” one user wrote.

“Coooome on Mr. Brush Out the Ends Fiiiiirst!!!! I love tuh see it!!!” another user commented.

“Go ‘head girl dad,” wrote another user.

“Full custody here too, bro! #GirlDad,” another comment read.

With a cute hairdo and a dad who clearly loves her immensely, this little girl is ready to take on the world!
