Last year, the pandemic caused Girl Scouts everywhere to get creative in selling cookies. Some set up virtual cookie booths on social media, while others set up drive-thru locations to take new orders. This year, Girl Scouts of the USA is partnering with Grubhub to make getting your favorite cookies even easier.

Starting Feb. 1 in select cities, you can order Girl Scout Cookies for pickup or delivery on Grubhub.com or the Grubhub app. Proceeds from each order will support a local troop.

“This season, our girls will continue to exemplify what the cookie program taught them — how to think like entrepreneurs, use innovative sales tactics and pivot to new ways of doing business when things don’t go according to plan,” interim GSUSA CEO Judith Batty said in a press release.

The Girl Scouts will get hands-on e-commerce experience by tracking and fulfilling orders, managing inventory and more, using Grubhub’s back-end technology.

Grubhub is waiving all fees for the organization, and is offering customers free delivery on Girl Scout Cookie orders $15 and up, now through Feb. 14.

And more exciting news: There’s a new cookie! The French toast-inspired cookie dipped in icing, called the Toast-Yay!, will be available in select areas.

The full Girl Scouts cookie line-up includes: Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Lemon-Ups, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Toffee-tastic and Girl Scout S’mores.

Besides the Grubhub ordering, there’s a few other ways to order cookies this year. If you don’t already know a Girl Scout, you can text COOKIES to 59618 or go to the Girl Scout Cookie website to find them nearby. Select GNC locations have also offered space outside its retail locations for Girl Scouts to sell cookies, too.

If you’d rather order through Grubhub, search for cookies in your area or choose your city from the list on Grubhub’s Girl Scout Cookie hub to place an order today.
