Hopefully, you’re not new to the power of the dew. Beauty lovers of all ages rave about Glow Recipe’s skin-brightening products and their newest Niacinamide Dew Drops, which up the ante on glowy, glossy skin, are no exception.
Glow Recipe’s new Niacinamide Dew Drops are a game-changing combination of makeup and skincare. Described as a “multi-use highlighting serum,” the Dew Drops feature the Glow Gang’s OG skincare ingredient, watermelon.
The serum itself has a gel-like texture, and it can be used in several different ways while treating skincare concerns like hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and dullness. According to the brand, you can use it as a primer, a mixer to dilute your foundation, as an eye base (that is Ophthalmologist-tested) and as a highlighter.

As someone who lives for finding the next juicy skincare product, I tried out the latest Glow Recipe formula in a few different ways. First, I tried it on bare skin, then under my Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Skin Finish Buildable Coverage Foundation Stick. I was also curious to see how the Dew Drops would hold up on top of the foundation, and the results were impressive.

Dew Drops Over Foundation
Dewy products tend to fall short when applied on top of makeup. From personal experience, I’ve topped foundation with dewier products and they almost always break up the makeup underneath.
However, the Dew Drops acted with my foundation instead of against it. While many other products start bunching up on top of your skin, the drops actually dry down and leave you with a semi-sticky, but dewy finish without ruining the masterpiece underneath.
After playing around with this product, it’s definitely something I will be adding to my skincare and everyday makeup routine. It’s easy to mix in with makeup, plus it has all the benefits that you want in a skincare treatment. The serum enhances the skin you’ve been blessed with, but it also gives your makeup a dewy finish without you having to deal with a patchy aftermath.
