Leading up to the holidays, one especially good gift to yourself is a meal delivery kit. After all, you can spend less time preparing meals and more time crossing things off your to-do list — all while eating tasty, nutritious food.
Most meal delivery services aim to make cooking fast and easy. But by the time you wash and chop all of the produce, there’s nothing that fast about it. Gobble, on the other hand, has chefs who do all of the chopping and measuring for you. The meal delivery service claims by doing this, customers can cook its meals in only 15 minutes.
Gobble has two meal plans to choose from: a standard dinner plan and a “lean and clean” plan. The standard dinner plan includes recipes for things like sirloin steaks with smashed Yukon potatoes, spinach and three peppercorn sauce, coconut Hawaiian-style fish tacos with mango salsa and sweet corn and squash ravioli.
As you can probably guess, the latter option features recipes made with lean proteins and healthy fats, which are all under 600 calories per serving. Recipes in this plan include things like Asian-style broccoli and cauliflower salad with chicken breast, Mexican-style prawns and vegetables with black beans, and steak and vegetable sauté with Italian salsa verde and potatoes.
In both plans, the recipes are easy to follow and include nutritional information. The ingredients are all sourced from local farms and specialty purveyors, then prepped and packed with recyclable ice packs to keep food fresh during shipping.
“Great uncomplicated food. Easy to follow recipes and a well-balanced meal. How much more perfect can you get? I love that Gobble has changed my eating habits for the better,” reads one customer review on Gobble’s website.
Servings are generally priced around $11.99, and first-time subscribers can now get $25 off their first four boxes when they sign-up now through Dec. 4. Plus, you’ll receive free shipping. While it is a subscription-based service, if you want to skip a week or skip a month of delivery, you can absolutely do that.
So, if you want to cook fresh meals in less time and for less money, now may be the time to give Gobble a try.
