Jujubee and Thorgy Thor help a caller who is having trouble finding dating prospects in his area

Welcome to the Love Hotline! Drag queens Jujubee and Thorgy Thor are answering your burning questions about navigating the world of dating. Whether it be over video chat or good old-fashioned letters, your two favorite queens have got you covered with their entertaining “expert” advice!

In this episode of Love Hotline, hosts Jujubee and Thorgy Thor help out Dan, a single guy who’s run the gamut on dating options in his area, and is looking for advice on how to find prospects he hasn’t already been involved with.

Dan, who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, calls in with a problem. “I’ve either dated or hooked up with anyone I’d be interested in, so my question is where do I go from here?”

Thorgy correctly assumes Dan is on all the hookup apps, but that Dan is more so looking for a long term relationship than a casual fling.

“So do you tell these people that?” asks Thorgy.

“When I’m like, going on a date with someone, I’ll tell them what I’m looking for, but if it’s a hookup, that will not come up,” says Dan.

Thorgy and Jujubee then ask Dan if he’s tried the apps that are geared towards finding long-term partners rather than just one-time hookups, or if those types of dating apps even exist.

“Are there apps where it’s like, ‘You are not going to have sex with this person?’” wonders Thorgy. To which Dan jokingly responds, “LinkedIn, maybe?”

“So I’m going to suggest this,” begins Thorgy. “Either give somebody else another chance, a re-run, or jump in [the] car and go to cities around you.”

Dan admits that he hasn’t tried hitting neighboring cities yet, but that Indianapolis and Columbus could have some exciting prospects.

Jujubee even suggests taking a road trip up North, and taking things international. “Go up to Canada when they’ll let you in, you know?”

If visiting nearby cities doesn’t work, Thorgy suggests just “sitting at home and focusing on your career, like we have, and that’s why we’re SO successful.”

“And happy,” adds Jujubee.

Dan thanks the hosts and hangs up the phone, as Jujubee and Thorgy wrap things up by sending Dan some positive vibes, before ending with a fun, revealing game of “Would You Rather.”
