College students buy couch from Goodwill and find old photos wedged between cushions

A college student bought a couch from her local Goodwill and ended up finding something extra buried between the cushions.

According to a now-viral TikTok posted by user @drewskiostrich, the aforementioned couch was purchased in Maplewood, Minn., for just $20 by one of @drewskiostrich’s friends. His friend has owned the couch now for a few months, but recently, she looked under the cushions and came upon some old photos that she is now hoping to reunite with their rightful owner.

“It seems the pics are of some college friends around the ’80s,” @drewskiostrich explained in the video. “We would love to return the lost photos.”

People had many theories about the long-lost photos.

“Watch these photos be the missing link to solving a crime,” one person theorized.

“My mom has similar pics like that in her room,” another added. “I didn’t see her in any pics that u showed but I’m a little freaked out.”

“Why do they look so familiar?” a third questioned.

Though @drewskiostrich posted his video on Dec. 5, it seems the hunt is still on for the original owners of the photos. In a follow-up video posted the next day, he posted close-ups of the photos and explained that he and his friends are still trying to locate the people in the mysterious images.

“We are still on the search!” he said.

If you happen to know who the people in the photos are, let @drewskiostrich know!
