Green goddess is a creamy herb-based salad dressing or dip, often made with yogurt, fresh herbs, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper, that adds a fresh and tangy flavor to many dishes. From salads to sandwiches, green goddess recipes are taking over TikTok. Aside from making a delicious condiment, green goddess recipes are also a great way to put your herb garden to work. If you’re looking for ways to upgrade your basic breakfast bowl or pasta, here are five easy and delicious green goddess recipes from TikTok to get you started. 

1. Green goddess breakfast bowl

This green goddess breakfast bowl is packed with yummy ingredients. Begin by sautéing sliced kale in olive oil. Next, boil an egg for six minutes. Then let it sit in a bowl with ice. Peel off the shell. Then roll the hard-boiled egg in chopped dill and parsley before slicing it in half. Plate the salad ingredients, starting with the sautéed kale, followed by quinoa, avocado, a lemon wedge and the hard-boiled egg slices. Finally, sprinkle on some more dill and parsley. Then top with a green goddess dressing made from Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, pepper and minced garlic.

If you love tostadas, you’ll definitely want to try this green goddess variety. First, add chopped lettuce, cucumber, diced jalapeños, green onions, chives and avocado to a bowl. Next, add kale, basil, dill, shallots, lemon juice, olive oil, walnuts, cashews, rice vinegar, salt and nutritional yeast to a blender. Thoroughly combine the mix with the salad. Then add a dollop to a tostada with a refried black bean spread, and enjoy! 

3. Green goddess sandwich

You’ll want to savor every bite of this refreshing green goddess sandwich. Begin by spreading mayonnaise on a toasted slice of bread. Next, add lettuce, mozzarella cheese and sliced cucumbers. Spread mashed avocado on another toasted slice of bread, and sprinkle on some alfalfa sprouts. Top off the sandwich with a dressing made from blended shallots, garlic, parsley, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt and oil before serving. 

4. Green goddess salad

This green goddess salad is literally loaded with greens. First, add chopped cabbage, cucumbers and green onions to a bowl. Next, combine spinach, white vinegar, garlic, avocado, lemon juice, grated parmesan cheese, olive oil and walnuts in a blender. Thoroughly mix the dressing with the salad. Then top with walnuts and pomegranate seeds, and enjoy!

5. Green goddess pesto pasta

This recipe is “pasta-tively” delicious! Start by heating up minced garlic and olive oil in a pan. Next, add frozen broccoli and peas before seasoning with salt and pepper. Then, add pesto, followed by pasta water. Mix in cooked tortellini, and top with Pecorino Romano cheese before serving.
