Guy skips ‘Tuesday night football’ to take girlfriend on date, and she falls for it: ‘Genius’

An influencer called out “every guy in America” for not skipping Tuesday night’s football game and having a date night instead.

TikTok couple Kaden and Mads vlog about their life. They went viral this week when Kaden posted a romantic surprise for Mads. He told her he wasn’t going to stay in and watch football on Tuesday because he’d rather spend the night with her.

“Hey babe, I decided that tonight I’m gonna skip out on Tuesday night football and take you on a date!” he told her.

Mads gasped at the news and looked excited. She checked to make sure he wasn’t kidding. He reassured her and offered to take her out for sushi.

“I figured I’d put a break on football for a little bit. Just cause I feel like we watch it a lot,” he said

Of course, what Mads didn’t realize is that there’s no such thing as Tuesday night football. The majority of NFL games are played Sunday and Monday.

TikTokers who were in on the joke were happy to help Kaden keep up the prank and the video racked up 2.2 million views.

“Skip Wednesday night too. That’s sacrificing two nights per week,” someone commented

“For such a young man, you’re a genius and the legend,” a user added.

“Genius, but unfortunately my wife of 26yrs knows when the games are,” a TikToker wrote

“Dude, that is such a magnanimous and kind gesture on your part,” a person said

“What a good lad. You missed a great game as well,” another replied
