Henry Cavill built a PC in a tank top and I need a glass of water

Henry Cavill is hardly the person who comes to mind when you think of your typical gamer. The “Superman” star has big, bulging muscles, a chiseled jawline and voluminous locks that are somehow always perfectly coiffed.

However, Cavill is a self-proclaimed gaming nerd — and a devoted one at that.

In 2016, the British heartthrob revealed that he almost missed out on the opportunity to play Superman because he was playing World of Warcraft.

“I was playing World of Warcraft [when Zack Snyder called] and I have my priorities straight,” he told Conan O’Brien.

In an interview with GQ in 2019, Cavill also admitted that he prefers sitting inside and playing video games over going outside and getting recognized.

“At home, I get to sit playing games for ridiculous amounts of hours and escape there, because going outside has the opposite effect,” he said.

Well, in case you still aren’t convinced Cavill is an unabashed gamer, his latest Instagram post is guaranteed to change your mind.

In the five-minute video, the “Witcher” star builds a PC from scratch, something that he says he’s wanted to do for a while.

“I definitely have had custom PCs over the years. That’ll be the next project, as soon as I find enough time — and the bravery — I might put my own PC together,” Cavill told NME in December.

Well, on July 16, Cavill finally found the time and bravery to try his hand at building a PC from scratch. Sure, he messes a few things up, but he doesn’t let that deter him.

For gamers, Cavill’s video is a fun ode to the art of DIY. For everyone else, it’s five minutes of Henry Cavill looking good in a tank top. Like, really good.

To be sure, Cavill knows he looks good. On Instagram, he even warned fans with the frisky caption, “This kind of material isn’t for everyone….viewer discretion is advised. You may see a lot of parts that you haven’t seen before.”
