If you have a friend who can recite their entire birth chart, Homesick recently launched an Astrology Collection they’re going to love. Every candle corresponds to a specific zodiac sign, and they all smell incredible.
The AstroTwins Tali and Ophira Edut, both celebrity astrologers, authors and scent consultants, worked with Homesick to develop the 12 new fragrances. Each candle in the collection promises to “unlock each star sign’s distinct personality, dreams and desires,” the press release reads. So, whether you’re a headstrong Capricorn or a caring Cancer, there’s a scent made just for you.
The candles retail for $34 each and come in a box describing the notes, as well as each zodiac sign’s personal traits. Choosing someone’s sun sign (their main zodiac sign) is probably the most popular, but if your nose prefers the scent of the moon or rising signs, you could go with that. Although, if you have a friend’s birthday coming up between now and Nov. 21, you should know that it’s currently Scorpio season.

Homesick is the brand behind the state and city candles you may be familiar with. Missing home? If you can’t visit, you can at least get a candle that smells like it. However, the brand also makes candles to commemorate major life events or memories like a new job, a new house, grandma’s kitchen and more. It only makes sense that astrology was the next step.
“At Homesick we believe in the personal-yet-universal power of scent to help people feel close to those that matter most. We thought, what better way to honor that than by connecting our customers with the most important person of all: themselves?” Lauren Lamagna, general manager at Homesick, said in the same press release. “Working with the AstroTwins felt like it was written in the stars. Between their inimitable ability to interpret the stars to a goosebump-inducing degree, and our own background in fragrance, we’ve created a collection that is as unique as each one of our customers.”
Gifting candles feels impersonal sometimes, especially if you’re not sure about the type of scent someone prefers. But a candle made just for them that evokes all the best parts of their personality? Well, that’s a pretty thoughtful gift.
