Founder and CEO of ENID&CO
Hometown: Norwalk, Conn.
Raised by her hard-working Puerto Rican parents, Amanda Enid Rodríguez-Davis was influenced by their ethics, entrepreneurial spirit, and creativity, all of which led her to found the jewelry company ENID&CO in 2019. Rodríguez-Davis had no experience in business or jewelry-making prior to launching the brand, so she invited her mother, Lydia, to join her new venture. Over the past two years, the pair has made thousands of sales, shipping their crafts all over the U.S. Each gorgeous, handmade item is created with “mucho amor, risas y un chin de sazón,” according to ENID&CO’s “about us” page. The brand’s mission is to “encourage women of all ages, sizes, ethnicities and social classes to feel confident in their skin” and embrace their individual style.
In honor of Latinx Heritage Month, In The Know is highlighting changemakers who are impacting the world through cultural advancement, community leadership and entrepreneurial innovation. See all of our honorees here.
