Activist advocating for South Asian American women and reproductive rights
Hometown: Germantown, Md.
Anusha Chinthalapale is a South Asian American activist who battles racist misperceptions while also fighting against anti-abortion efforts across the country. In 2019, she was a part of a Women’s March Youth Empower cohort, and has since helped grow the movement’s membership in the DMV area to over 100 active members. Chinthalapale is now a junior at George Washington University and recently worked as an intern for Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland. She hopes to be a constitutional lawyer and an educator someday.
