As a young teenager, Joshua Rush played Disney Channel’s first openly gay main character on the show Andi Mack. When the show ended, he left behind on-screen acting roles for voice work and a renewed focus on activism and social issues. He came out as bisexual in 2019 and has been an advocate for policy change on behalf of the LGBTQIA+ community. He’s currently a student at the University of Utah.
