Calling 25-year-old Sally Condori a fashion designer would be a vast understatement. The Peruvian American, who studied product design at the Parsons School of Design, started working on her clothing line when she was 23. Now, Dare To Know, a sustainability-minded streetwear line, is live and making major waves in the fashion community. Condori’s clothing prioritizes transparency, waste reduction and shopping local, using cotton from Southern California and sceen-printing from small family-owned shops in the Los Angeles area. Elsewhere in her career, Condori’s work has been sold at major retailers like Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People.
In honor of Women’s History Month, In The Know is highlighting changemakers making an impact on the world through cultural advancement, community leadership, and entrepreneurial innovation. See all of the honorees here.
