Rachel Rhee teaches how to manage stress and form healthy habits on her blog The Dimple Life and TikTok justdimpleit. Rhee imparts wellness advice on how to build confidence, care for your mental health and ease anxiety. But for a video on establishing a great morning routine, the blogger turned to her mother for some wisdom.
Her mother begins the day by getting some fresh air right outside her door. She does deep breathing and simple stretches. Next, she gets to moving — but nothing too intense. Rhee’s mother opts for a weighted hula-hoop as a fun activity with some strength training. Then last up, she tends to her garden.
“Gardening makes her so happy,” Rhee explains. “She says it’s her form of therapy.”
We could all use some inner calm right now and the three healthy habits are a great way to get in touch with nature, the mind and body every morning.
The motherly wisdom garnered 276,000 views, making it Rhee’s most popular TikTok.
“I want to be her when I grow up,” one person wrote.
“She makes me want to be more active,” another said.
“This is everything. Can she be our life coach,” someone added.
