Isabella Springmühl Tejada is a renowned Guatemalan fashion designer and motivational speaker on entrepreneurship and inclusion. Inspired by the lack of representation and variety in fashion, Isabella used her own body to design clothing that would better fit individuals with Down syndrome. Her clothing and accessory brand, Down to Xjabelle, is a colorful and inclusive line that draws inspiration from traditional Guatemalan textiles. Despite having received no formal education or training in fashion, Isabella has stunned the world with her handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces that utilize upcycled materials. Isabella hopes to one day add opera singer to her list of inspiring accomplishments.
