You know when you get home from a long day at work, and all you want to do is get comfy? The first thing I do is change into leggings or sweatpants. However, my loungewear could probably use an upgrade — my pandemic sweats are looking a little worn. I don’t need the most stylish set for chilling at home, but I do need something super soft, stretchy and comfortable.

While doing my research, I stumbled across a brand called Jambys. Jambys makes what the brand calls “performance inactivewear” or “premium unisex house clothes designed to make you feel great at home.” The brand’s signature product is its relaxed-fitting, super-soft boxers with pockets. They’re for men and women and come in 18 colors and patterns. The brand also sells T-shirts, hoodies, long pants, robes and more.

However, you’ll never guess how I came across the brand — it was part of the 2023 Oscar’s six-figure swag bags. (Yes, the bags are really worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.) They’re called the “Everyone Wins” gift bags, and L.A.-based entertainment marketing company Distinctive Assets gives them to acting and directing nominees. People like Michelle Yeoh, Ana de Armas, Austin Butler and even Steven Spielberg went home with a bag with Jambys included.

Coincidentally, Jambys are perfect for movie nights, Netflix binging and falling asleep to your favorite nature show. I recently got my hands on a pair of the boxers, and they’re my new favorite shorts. They’re everything I was looking for: Soft, stretchy and comfortable. I especially like that they’re loose-fitting because I don’t always feel like squeezing into tight leggings. Also, not the point, but they look presentable. In other words, I don’t mind if my neighbors see me wearing them when I take my late-night pizza boxes out to the trash in the morning.

Nonetheless, don’t sleep on Jambys’ other styles. Next up, I want to get the French terry JamTee that feels like a luxe bathrobe, according to the product’s description. Mostly everything costs under $100 and comes in a wide array of colors and patterns on the brand’s website. You can mix and match or create your own chic monochromatic look. Either way, Jambys are a solid buy. Hey! If they’re good enough for the stars, they’re good enough for me.
