Wellness guru breaks down what superfoods your body needs on TikTok

Jennifer López, AKA @jehnayyy_, uses her bullet journal to bring health and fitness tips to TikTok.

López’s channel is bilingual, so it’s a great place for both English and Spanish speakers to get quick info on how to lead a more nutritious lifestyle. She breaks down healthy eating into simple guidelines and techniques like in her illustrated daily food pyramid or downloadable healthy meal options guide.

She explained which foods to eat to target certain vitamins and minerals, in one video. Using her signature journal, López listed vitamins in boxes with each of their respective foods.

“Did you know that you can actually get vitamins from the food you are eating,” López asked

For vitamin A try dark-colored fruits and veggies, dairy meat and fish. To increase your vitamin E she advised a diet of nuts, seeds, oily fish, eggs and leafy vegetables, Meanwhile, for vitamin B6 López said peanuts, legumes, cereal, fish, organ meats, beef liver and potatoes are a good place to start.

While her video isn’t exhaustive it is a great starting point and introduction to learning how to eat with purpose.

“Love your notes. Thanks for making it easy,” one user said

López said she is a visual learner, which is why she spends so much time bringing wellness info to a visual medium like TikTok.

“I must write things down in order to remember them or find them useful for that matter,” she stated on her website. “I have put a lot of time and dedication into every single spread that I make, I want to make sure that I am putting out content that is both accurate and useful.
