No one wants to admit it, but Julia Fox has become somewhat of a fashion plate.

And it pretty much came out of nowhere: While Fox had her star-making turn in 2019’s Uncut Gems Uncuhhh Jamz, she didn’t quite become a tabloid fixture until her whirlwind romance with a recently divorced Kanye West.

And while West may have introduced her to high-fashion latex (and $10,000 Birkins), Fox has continued to bring it post-split. From extra low-rise pants and denim shoulder bags to slightly startling smoky eyes and Matrix-inspired silhouettes, Fox wears everything on-trend — sometimes all at once — and always in an exaggerated, uber-cool way.

And, look — her style isn’t necessarily wearable for the average person, and you might actually hate it. But if you want to know which direction fashion is trending in at any given time, just take a look at Fox. If 2022 was a wardrobe, it’d be hers.

If you’re feeling inspired by Fox’s personal trend forecasting too, these are some wearable ways to make these trends your own. (Birkins not included.)

Very Low-Rise Jeans

BDG Ruched V-Front Flare Jeans, $79

Low-rise jeans have been trending for a while now, so we won’t give Fox too much credit for this one — but she’s definitely making a case for the trend’s official takeover. This pair has front ruching for an even lower rise.

EB Denim Bandless Jeans, $345

The good news is: You don’t need a matching denim crop top. A raw hem looks great with bodysuits and basics. (Side note: Can’t wait for Fox’s next jean-cutting tutorial.)

But in case you do want a denim crop top… pair this halter, corset-inspired one with matching light-wash jeans.

Reformation Macy Denim Bustier Top, $128

This strapless denim bustier by Reformation has a convenient back zipper and an extra, extra tight fit for flaunting those curves.

Denim Handbags

Denim is obviously always in style, but “all-jean-everything” is about to be extra ubiquitous this season. And you shouldn’t relegate yourself to just jeans and tops: Try a Fox-inspired jean purse too, like this acid-wash one by Clare V

Frasier Sterling Off Duty Denim Shoulder Bag, $99

Cool-girl brand Frasier Sterling is always on-trend. Exhibit A: This patchwork denim shoulder bag that doesn’t break the bank.

Oversize Moto Jackets

Alo Yoga Sherpa Utility Gear Jacket, $198

ICYMI, Alo Yoga makes so much more than just yoga clothes. This utility jacket features both cozy sherpa and sleek faux leather.

Levis Women’s Faux Leather Dad Bomber Jacket, $98.90 (Orig. $150)

Fox gets tons of mileage from her oversize toppers — and a leather “dad bomber” is the perfect piece to throw on over those aforementioned crop tops and low-rise jeans.

Latex Pants

[BLANKNYC] Shiny Vinyl Leggings, $45 (Orig. $98)

Thanks to Fox, Kanye and also Kim Kardashian, we’re about to see a lot more latex around — trust me on this. And [BLANKNYC]‘s classic faux leather leggings are as comfy as they are chic.

Commando Faux Patent-Leather Skinny Pants, $178

Or, ditch the pull-on pleather leggings: A real button and zipper adds some major polish.

Over-The-Knee Stiletto Boots

Kitulandy Women’s Over-The-Knee Boots, $72.99

Yes, over-the-knee boots will be very “in” for summer — pull a Julia and pair them with a teensy-tiny miniskirt or cutoff jean shorts.

Good American The Weekend Glitter Boot, $206.50 (Orig. $295)

Credit: Good American

This glittery pair is perfect for having on deck year-round. (Just think of all the outfits.)

Smudged Black Eyeshadow

NYX Professional Makeup Epic Smoke Liner Stick, $11

Credit: Ulta

Fox originally got a lot of flack for what’s become, in a way, her signature eye makeup look: Opaque and saturated allover liner you can *clearly* tell she did herself, that sweeps all the way up to her brow arches. But, the joke’s on us — over-the-top black shadow and smoky eyes are about to be everywhere

Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color, $26

Nudestix’s Magnetic Eye Color is so pigmented and intense, I’d bargain Fox owns it herself.
