Kim Kardashian’s St. Patrick’s Day surprise for her kids descends into chaos

Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories to share a St. Patrick’s Day surprise she planned for her four kids that did not go as expected.

On March 17, the reality TV star said she was organizing a “leprechaun trap” for North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

“OK guys, we’re building a leprechaun trap for the morning because we have to catch him,” Kardashian explained as her kids put powdered sugar in a ladle they hung on a door, then placed a small vat of garlic powder below it.

They then set a plate covered in cooking spray in front of the door so the leprechaun would slip and easily be caught in a plastic bag using what can only be described as a contraption.

“This is the best leprechaun trap ever,” Kardashian said. “I think we’re going to catch a serious leprechaun.”

Once the kids left, Kardashian sprinkled glitter all over the trap so that they would “believe” a leprechaun really did visit.

That’s when things started going wrong, though.

She left out chests of gold coins for the kids so they’d think a leprechaun left them treats, but only remembered three of the four she was supposed to have.

She also noticed that the trap stained her furniture.

“I realized that the kids ruined and stained my stone table with the cooking spray,” she said in her Instagram Story. “So now I’m trying to clean it up, but it’s fully greased … so now my stone table is ruined. All for this f***ing leprechaun trap. Ugh.”

Kardashian went out to get a fourth treasure chest for her kids in order to keep the magic of the season alive, along with the harmony in her house. Happy St. Patricks’ Day to all.
