Who is Karen Hausman? Mysterious older woman goes viral on TikTok

A woman who appears to be from the U.K. has 679,000 TikTok followers and people can’t get enough of her cheeky vlogs.

Karen Hausman has stolen the hearts of TikTok with her short video confessionals. Sometimes without context, sometimes with, Hausman simply speaks directly to the camera and lets you know exactly how she’s feeling. There are no frills, no filters or the hyper-manicured influencer look we’ve come to expect from internet personalities.

Hausman’s short rants and raves often go viral with many TikTokers using her audio to create their own videos.

“I’ve had a bit of a temper tantrum”

“Sorry about that. I did have a bit of a temper tantrum. Feel so much better about expressing myself. I told you I wasn’t perfect. Best thing I ever did,” Hausman said on her way to Costco, providing very little context.

The video received 4 million views and 4,847 videos have been made with the sound.

“I want to look like a Kardashian

“I’m smoking hot. I want to look like a Kardashian,” Hausman said laying in bed wearing lingerie. “Kim you look absolutely mega in the picture on the Los Angeles magazine. Kardashian, you nailed it. What a great selfie with that dog, that is wonderful. I hope you like my outfit. I want to be as sexy as you, my darling. How about if I do a sex tape? I might do it. This is a family show. I’d like to pose in Playboy.”

The clip racked up a 1 million views and 393 memes were made using the sound.

“I’m crazy, I want him in the worst way”

“I’m crazy, I want him in the worst way. What am I gonna do? I’ll just manifest it. Might take me a while,” Hausman said to the camera, from her living room.

Hausman’s TikTok earned 2.2 million views and spawned 2,355 videos.

“My heart’s going pitter patter”

“That was f***ing scary. My heart’s going pitter-patter, pitter-patter. I feel sick like I could throw up. Look at my lips why would they be red like that. Anyway, there was a hurricane,” she said trailing off.

The video received 3.3 million likes and 76,400 videos have used the original sound.

“I’m dressed to kill”

Hausman recorded a video with a glitch that distorted her words. The only part that came out clearly was her saying, “I’m dressed to kill,” as the camera panned down to her legs.

“Bestie, you’re glitching, babe,” one person commented.

“Queen, you’re glitching a bit,” another said

Glitch and all, the video racked up 388,000 likes and the sound has been used in 170 videos.
