The feud began when Keemstar dropped into Dafran’s stream and donated 300 bits (or $3) with the message “nice.” Dafran began thanking Keemstar until he recognized his donor’s name.
“Well, I guess it should be appropriate to ban Keemstar,” Dafran said on his stream. “Let’s ban him. He’s been a piece of s***.”
“Actually, maybe I need to go unfollow him, too,” Dafran continued as he logged onto Twitter to unfollow Keemstar.
Keemstar responded by tweeting his frustration at Dafran. He particularly took issue with Dafran referring to him as a piece of s***. Dafran, who is a notorious troll, egged Keemstar on with pithy replies.

Dafran made me sad $10,000 bounty pic.twitter.com/xu97HELetG— KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) January 4, 2021
“I’m putting a 10,000 bounty on this b***** a** m************,” Keemstar said in his tweet. He went on to talk about various YouTubers who have accused him of harassment and unethical behavior in the past.
“Anyhow, my point is, f*** this guy [Dafran],” Keemstar continued. “I’m rich and he made me sad so now I’m going to make him sad. 10,000 dollar bounty. Literally raid him, blow up his base, kill him on his server… 10,000 dollars to whoever does that.”
Dafran isn’t alone in his dislike of Keemstar. The YouTuber is best known as the host of DramaAlert, a show focusing on the lives and controversies of influencers. But before that, Keemstar was a gamer making Halo content and playing on Justin.tv, the progenitor of Twitch.
In 2008, Keemstar encouraged his viewers to spam a website moderator with the n-word. In 2016, Keemstar told John “TotalBiscuit” Bain that he can’t “wait to report on your death” (Bain was diagnosed with terminal cancer) after feeling snubbed by TotalBiscuit. Keemstar later apologized for the tweet but his feuds haven’t gotten any less frequent.
Keemstar called off his bounty not long after, claiming that Dafran was conspiring to get his friends to kill him and collect the money. Whether that’s true or not, we may never know, but Dafran responded with more of his terse, signature ribbing.

PepeHands is the BTTV emote to sadness or disappointment.
The money is off the table but the feud still isn’t over. Keemstar vowed to take Dafran’s head himself on Rust.
