Fans slam Kendall Jenner over the dress she wore to best friend’s wedding

Social media is in a frenzy over the dress Kendall Jenner chose to wear to her friend’s wedding.

On Nov. 11, the 26-year-old model attended her friend Lauren Perez’s wedding with a slew of other famous friends, including Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber. Perez has been friends with the Jenner sisters for years.

In a series of posts that Jenner shared on her Instagram story, the girls posed in a bathroom for some mirror selfies to show off their looks for the occasion.

Jenner is seen wearing a Mônot dress featuring diamond-shaped cut-outs across the top of the dress, a bare midriff section and a drop-waist black skirt. The dress was part of Mônot’s SS22 collection, according to Elle.

Mônot’s current collection of dresses retail from $1,206 to $1,731.

Commenters on social media, while appreciative of the high-fashion moment, seemed to think Jenner’s decision to wear it to a wedding was “rude.”

“I love Kendall,” one person wrote on Instagram. “But, is she in love with the groom or something?”

“She looks great!” another agreed. “But for a wedding? No!!!! Definitely noooo.”

“She wore this to a friend’s wedding?!” someone asked. “Yikes.”

TikTok also went in on Jenner for the outfit choice.

“Not Kendall ‘Pick Me’ Jenner wearing this to someone’s wedding?” TikToker @maiachondrialmembrane captioned her reaction. Her TikTok has since racked up over 3 million views.

“It’s just blatantly disrespectful to the bride!” a follower agreed.

“Inappropriate,” another said.
