There’s a stigma that healthy food isn’t necessarily tasty food. But it’s really all just how you cook it. On this episode of The Wellness Lab, Dr. Alok Patel shares three kitchen tools he uses for cooking healthier meals at home.

“One great benefit to cooking at home is that you know exactly what you’re eating,” Dr. Patel says. “And, [you can] make sure that your diet is full of things like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats… while keeping everything low in trans fats, saturated fats, added sugar, cholesterol and sodium.”

Check out a few of his tips for cooking at home with an air fryer, steamer and blender in the video above.
