Kristen Bell earns scathing review from homeschooled daughter

Kristen Bell took to Instagram on April 28 to share a rather brutal review she received for one of her most recent roles — not from a film critic, but from her first-grade daughter, Lincoln, who she’s been homeschooling amid the coronavirus lockdown.

“Trying to get my 1st grader to write her first opinion essay, and was quite impressed with the topic she chose as she presented her grid with opinion and evidence,” the “Frozen” star wrote alongside a photo of her daughter’s handwritten presentation, titled “How my momy reacts to me.”

Among the “bad reactions” the 7-year-old lists are, “doesn’t believe in me,” “no patience” and “stern voice.”

“Touche my young lass,” Bell commented on her daughter’s work. “Touche.”

Fans seemingly got a laugh out of the graphic, with many parents finding that it felt all too familiar.

“Feeling very seen!” one parent wrote. “My 1st grader shares those opinions. It’s been a loooong seven weeks (& counting).”

“Relatable content right here,” joked another.

“Was this in an attempt to punish you for something recently denied?” one user wrote. “Kids are WAY too smart!!”

Bell and husband Dax Shepard have been quarantining at home with Lincoln and their other daughter, 5-year-old Delta.

The 39-year-old actress recently lamented on Instagram that being stuck in a house “with a talkative child is like having an insane parrot super glued to your shoulder.”

“I have 2 insane parrots,” Bell captioned the quote image.
