One viral video back in 2015 would forever change the life of Deepica Mutyala, a South-Asian beauty entrepreneur and businesswoman. The video shows how Mutyala, a medium-to-dark-skinned Asian woman, uses a red lipstick hack to cover dark under-eyes. The rest, as they say, is (her)story.
She launched Live Tinted in 2018 and uses the platform even today to explore the meaning of diverse beauty for all communities and communities of colors. According to her website, Live Tinted “focuses on underrepresented people in beauty, and their personal journeys with culture and identity.”
In 2019, Live Tinted launched a 4-in-1 multi-stick, which is a color corrector, eye shadow, blush and lipstick.
