Lizzo hits the Grammys red carpet in white-hot gown

Nominated for eight Grammy awards, Lizzo stepped out on the award show’s red carpet on Sunday, Jan. 26th for the very first time.

For the special night, the “Truth Hurts” singer donned a stunning white gown by Versace. Giving off Old Hollywood glamour, Lizzo’s strapless gown was anything but simple thanks to intricate white beading, architectural side pleating and a thigh-high slit to boot.

Lizzo completed her white-hot look with a matching white shawl and diamond jewelry; she kept her beauty look simple with a smokey eye and long polished waves. According to E! News’ live red carpet coverage, the singer is paying homage to the legendary Diana Ross with her ensemble.

Lizzo is nominated for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album.
