Coming from a fashion-forward family, Luka Sabbat has been a style icon since he was in his mid-teens, so he was a natural choice to star on In The Know’s Liberation digital cover. Shot by photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis at Colony Studios Brooklyn, Sabbat donned seven high-fashion looks during his shoot, including pieces from the likes of Wales Bonner, Raf Simons, Pierre Blanc and more.
The 23-year-old creative entrepreneur, actor, model and influencer was interviewed by In The Know’s Consulting Editor at Large, Elaine Welteroth, over Zoom. The two covered every topic from racial identities to style as a form of activism to why it’s important to Sabbat to wear Black designers. You can read their entire conversation here.
