Here are some predictions for 2022, the year of the Tiger

This Feb. 1 marks the Lunar New Year 2022 with celebrations across Asia and spans 16 days until Feb. 15. It’s the most significant annual holiday in China where each year begins a new cycle for one of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. In 2022 we celebrate the Year of the Tiger, meanwhile, last year was the Year of the Ox.

Chinese astrologers also dub the year with one of five elements (metal, water, wood, fire and earth) and this year it’s water. A Water Tiger year will bring growth, challenges and creation. That last Year of the Water Tiger was 1962.

Predictions about 2022 the Year of the Water Tiger

According to Chinese New Year, 2022 is the year of offending Fan Tai Sui for tiger signs; it’s when the tiger sign is believed to have insulted Fan Tai Sui the powerful god that governs luck each year. This means that tigers will face challenges and setbacks in 2022.

While there is little tigers can do to eliminate these troubles, the key to thriving is working with your new circumstances, rather than resisting them.

Relationship predictions in 2022

Tigers may experience an unsatisfying romantic life this year whether they are single or taken. Those married and in relationships might feel some rough patches.

Work predictions in 2022

Work could be another source of stress this year for tiger signs. Coworkers and employers may prove to be obstacles rather than allies in the workplace. The key to navigating the tricky situation will be preparing for all outcomes well before they arrive.

Money predictions in 2022

Tigers’ best bet is steering clear of risky financial decisions like gambling or investments. Aim for stability and security.

Health predictions in 2022

Health could be a big issue for tiger signs. Colds and common ailments might be a reoccurring theme this year. Be sure to rest, eat lots of nutrients and take the appropriate medication when necessary.

Luck predictions in 2022

Tiger signs are going to feel like they’ve been struck with bad luck and misfortune because of Fan Tai Sui’s wrath. However, doing good deeds, wearing the color red and praying to the god can help bring better luck.
