As someone who has spent approximately 10,000 hours smelling candles at T.J.Maxx, I can consider myself a candle connoisseur. OK, maybe not a connoisseur; more like a really picky and highly opinionated lover of candles whose collection is slightly out of control and perhaps only one match away from being on a candle-related episode of Hoarders.

Idk about you, but there’s just something so magical about buying a nice luxury candle and lighting it for the first time in your home. It’s basically the equivalent of a glass of champagne, slipping on a fancy robe or eating chocolate-covered strawberries and realizing that you do not have to share.

If you’re looking to give major rich auntie vibes, here are our favorite candles to treat yourself to.
