Bath time is never as simple as it sounds — wrangling up the kiddos for some necessary hygiene is not exactly easy.
Luckily with a few helpful items, moms and dads can make bath time more like playtime. In this episode of In The Know’s Parenting Wins, Jose and Andrea share their bath time woes and their favorite products to make it more fun.
Here are their highly recommended products:
“You’re bathing your kid inside a whale. Is there anything cuter than that?” Jose said.
This whale-shaped tub with a mesh cradle is definitely a crowd-pleaser. It’s designed to make bathing the tiniest newborns safe and stress-free by providing full-body and seated support.
“This mesh here,” Jose explained. “You can actually adjust it into three different stages: newborn, infant and just when they’re starting to sit up.”
Not only is it adorable, but it also has a hook. So you can safely store it on the shower head, towel rack or behind your bathroom door.
“It’s PBA-free which means your child who is going to be chewing on all these little toys can safely do so,” Andrea explained.
The set features sea-life creatures, numbers and the complete alphabet. It also comes with a suctioned mesh organizer to make clean-up time easier and at $9.99, you can’t beat the price. Andrea’s oldest daughter even learned her ABCs thanks to the handy toy set.
“These stick to the wall in the bath,” Andrea said. “So I used to line up the whole alphabet and she couldn’t even say anything else but she could do the alphabet song.”
If starting bath time is hard, then finishing it is even harder. These animal-hooded terry cloth towels are the perfect way to lure the kids out of the bath.
“This is literally the only way I can get my son out of the bath,” Andrea said. “I show him the little towel with the cute face on it and he wants to put it on and be the bear. And that’s how I get him out of the bath.”
