Tune into In The Know Live: Beauty every Monday at 1 p.m. EST/ 10 a.m. PST. The show, hosted by In The Know senior beauty editor Jamé Jackson, dives into the newest beauty products and trends that are actually worth your money.

Hi, everyone! I’m Jamé Jackson, In The Know’s senior beauty editor.

As a beauty editor, I test out hundreds of new products every year. Yes, it’s for the sheer joy of it, but really it’s to make sure I recommend the best of the best. After all, who wants to spend their money on a product that didn’t even live up to their expectations? Nobody has time for that!

As a brown-skinned Black woman, I have to be cautious of products that promise they work on “all skin tones.”

Finding makeup products for dark skin can be a challenge; however, many emerging brands and products prove we all deserve a (metaphorical) spot at the beauty table.

So, I put it to the test on this week’s episode. From M.A.C. Cosmetics’ new cream-to-powder foundation to the constantly sold-out Glow Recipe Dew Drops, I dish on my thoughts of all these shoppable products.

Check out all the makeup products for dark skin in the video above, and shop, shop, shop!
