Man captures the second lightning struck his house in thrilling TikTok video

There are people with good timing, and then there are people like Brent Yarborough.

The 20-year-old resident of Florence, S.C., got his camera out just in time to capture the moment a terrifying bolt of lightning came down from the heavens and struck his house.

The second it happened, he screamed, ran full speed inside toward his sister and yelled, “I just got that on record!”

Yarborough told In The Know he couldn’t help but film the massive storm unfolding around him.

“There [were] way more lighting strikes before that one and they were all striking around my house so I had to press the record button,” he said.

Thankfully, his house was “okay” after the strike.

“My power shut off for a second, you can hear my microwave make a beeping noise in the background after the strike … nothing caught fire, it was raining too hard,” he said.

Since all of the people and property involved in the freak event are totally fine, it’s safe to celebrate this serendipitous footage, which left commenters thoroughly impressed.

“Bro that was a titan you better run,” one user wrote.

“Thor just wanted to say hi,” another said.

Yarborough told In The Know that seeing his video go viral was “a dream.”

“I’ve always wanted to entertain people,” he said.

Sadly, he did not wake up the next morning with super speed.
