While some people’s idea of fun is unwinding on a beach, others spend time piecing together the Marvel movies in timeline order. However, when you sign up for Disney+ you don’t have to do the tedious task of figuring out which Marvel movie or show comes first.

With Disney+, there are several sections that open up a world of content from Disney, Pixar, National Geographic, Star Wars and of course, Marvel. What’s cool about each brand’s section is that the content is organized by movies, specials and behind-the-scenes.

Marvel, in particular, has done the work for you in several areas on the Disney+ app. You can watch all of the Marvel movies by phase. Plus, the streaming service literally gives you the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in timeline order as well.

The Marvel Movies In Timeline Order

The timeline begins with Captain America: The First Avenger, which tells the story of Steve Rogers in the World War II era. The next movie in the timeline, Captain Marvel, takes place in the 90s, and then the timeline follows the 2010s with Tony Stark’s Journey in Iron Man and Iron Man Two

Next, the MCU order introduces Thor, then the first Avengers movie with Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk and Hawk Guy. Thor: The Dark World follows. Then, Marvel fans arrive at the final Iron Man 3 film, and continue with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The timeline continues with Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes One and Volume Two. Next comes Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant Man and then Captain America: Civil War

The timeline continues with the iconic Black Panther movie. The films, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok and Ant-Man and the Wasp follow. The final two Avengers films, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, are the game-changers in the MCU. Now, 2021 gives fans the Disney+ original series WandaVision

If you haven’t already signed up for Disney+, now is the time. New plots and theories are developing, and the streaming service makes it super easy to keep up with the entire MCU.
