In the series $1K Dream Room, host Will Taylor uses a modest budget of $1,000 to turn drab spaces into dream apartments.

In this episode of $1K Dream RoomWill Taylor of Bright Bazaar is on a mission to completely revamp Talia’s cramped Brooklyn bedroom.

Talia has lived in her apartment for three years, and is looking for an easy update. She loves the mid-century modern look, which Taylor plans to incorporate throughout the space. She also wants to make the room more cohesive, and Taylor has the perfect pieces in mind.

Taylor says Talia has a good slate to work with for the room, thanks in part to a dark gray accent wall. Taylor only has one day and a $1,000 budget, but that doesn’t mean he’s going small with the redesign.

After bringing in a few accents like macramé wall art, printable artwork from Etsy and statement mid-century modern furniture pieces, Taylor gives the bedroom the personality it deserves. Taylor even flipped the layout of the room, which makes it flow much more seamlessly.
