There are only a few products in my beauty arsenal that I would consider my “holy grail” products. As a beauty editor, I am constantly trying out new products, whether it’s iconic items I’ve only just got around to purchasing or new releases that have everyone talking.

But there is one product that I will never substitute for another: my Milani Easy Brow Pencil.

My love for this product truly knows no bounds. First, the formulation allows for a smooth application (it really feels like it glides on), while the water-resistant formula keeps it in place even if you sweat. The formula is a blend between a wax and a pencil, which allows me to apply light pressure and still get color payoff.

The other amazing thing about this brow pencil is the built-in spoolie brush. As someone who has practically non-existent eyebrows, I like to brush my brows up and away so I can see my natural shape before filling in. Whereas other spoolies are compact and can be flimsy, this spoolie is fairly thick and really helps me get my brows in check.

Years ago, I would purchase this product at my local CVS, back when you could buy a single pack for significantly less. For the past few years, I’ve opted to buy a pack of three from Amazon for $28. Considering the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil (a beauty favorite) is $23, scoring three Milani brow pencils for only $28 is a steal to me. If you do the math, that’s only a little over $9 each.

I’m not the only person who swears by this product. Product reviews on Amazon are glowing, as they deserve to be.

“I have been using this eyebrow pencil for a number of years now and it is the smoothest eyebrow pencil ever! It lasts much longer than more expensive pencils,” wrote one reviewer.

This hidden-gem eyebrow pencil just goes to show that you don’t have to go for broke when looking to find the best beauty products around. Glam and prestige are great, but nothing beats a bomb drugstore find.
