There are several makeup and beauty brands birthed from the fame of celebrities and reality stars. However, only a few were created organically from the raw talents of their muses, and Miss Fame Beauty is proof of this process.

Fans may know Miss Fame most from her stint on season seven of the popular drag reality competition RuPaul’s Drag Race. Known on the show for her impeccable makeup skills and high-fashion silhouettes, Miss Fame was no stranger to the beauty world.

Before becoming a household name, she was a well-known makeup artist in New York City training under one of the industry’s gatekeepers, Pat McGrath. Throughout her early days as a makeup artist, she collaborated with brands like Prada and Versace. She would also moonlight as a drag performer at the time, and after appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race, her stardom only continued to rise.

In 2018, after her stint on the TV show, she appeared in several magazines. She went on to further solidify her career as a model and makeup artist and, most importantly, returned to her roots to launch Miss Fame Beauty.

According to the brand, Miss Fame Beauty is a “gender-boundary-breaking makeup brand founded on the basis of empowerment, inclusivity and obtainability.”

The beauty collection includes a range of high-glamour fashion-forward lipsticks and multipurpose glitters. Check out some of the brand’s best-selling products below.
