A mom’s fake tan application went terribly wrong after a night of sleep, and TikTokers are cracking up.
Bridgette Hartt (@bridgettehartt) gained over 263,000 views and 25,000 likes when she posted her hilarious beauty mishap online.
Now, much like the mom who cracked up TikTok with her cringe-worthy underwear fail, Hartt’s tanning boo-boo is bringing some much-needed laughter to people around the world.
As Hartt explained in her video, she applied her fake tan before getting into bed.
Since her husband was out of town, her kids decided to sleep with her β which was the beginning of the end for Hartt’s sun-kissed glow.
As she explained, Hartt tends to get hot and sweaty when she co-sleeps. Her kids do too.
Ordinarily, this might not be a big deal, but since fake tans require 2 to 8 hours to develop, this exposure to moisture β and little feet β made for a hilariously bad combination.
‘The world’s cutest tan mishap!’
TikTokers rushed to the comments to share their reaction to Hartt’s adorable fail.
“Oh that is priceless!!!” one user laughed.
“And I thought the orange between my fingers from not washing my hands after my tan was bad ha ha Ha girl you win this πππ,” wrote another user.
“ππ I did that once when I was nursing my oldest. He developed an orange ring around his mouth to his cheeksπ³ π,” another user said.
“My babies toes always look like little Cheetos after I tan π€£π€£π€£π₯²π₯²π₯²,” commented another user.
“A sign to get a tattoo of that there π,” suggested one user.
“The world’s cutest tan mishap!” wrote another.
While she may not have the warm summer glow she was looking for, Hartt is sure to cherish the memory of this hilarious fake tan fail for years to come.
