Padilla is a parent and TikToker whose daughter adores animals. In a recent video that has racked up more than 20 million views, Padilla showed the moment her daughter picked up a baby squirrel and tried to take it home with her. While Padilla’s daughter was clearly enjoying her “Disney princess” moment, the mom was hilariously shocked by the incident.

The video begins with Padilla’s daughter opening the door to her car. Padilla sits in the car with her sister and films as her daughter pulls the door open and grins up at her. In one hand, Padilla’s daughter grips the handle of the door, and in the other, she gently holds a baby squirrel!

“Are you sure you should be holding that?” Padilla asks, sounding a little panicky.

Her daughter thinks for a moment, looking at the adorable squirrel, and responds, “Yeah! It was on my foot the whole time when I was walking.”

Padilla’s daughter shifts the baby squirrel from one hand to the other and begins to climb into the car. She looks totally overjoyed that she made a new furry friend. The squirrel, meanwhile, sits calmly in her hand.

“Are you sure?” Padilla asks doubtfully.

Then, when the little girl is about to sit down inside the car, Padilla’s sister yells, “No, no, no! Don’t get in the car.”

Padilla’s daughter begins to argue with her. She is clearly reluctant to let her new friend go. But Padilla is firm.

“Let it go,” she tells her daughter.

“But she was nice to me!” Padilla’s daughter says as she steps out of the car and closes the door.

For a moment, the little girl stands outside the car and continues to hold the squirrel. Then voice says, “Let it go!” and the girl turns around to return the squirrel to the grass behind her.

A new “Disney princess”

Viewers loved the video and dubbed Padilla’s daughter a “Disney princess.”

“She’s been chosen. She is now a Disney princess,” commented one TikToker.

“Her enthusiasm is awesome and contagious,” another viewer wrote.

“I think they’re just besties!” wrote another TikToker.
