A mother’s joyful reaction to discovering her son had passed the California bar exam is going viral.
In January, the UCLA Law graduate recorded the moment he and his mother viewed his bar exam results for the first time.
The bar exam is a test administered in each state in the U.S. to determine whether the candidate can practice law in that jurisdiction. The exam is different in each state and in California it is notoriously difficult. You cannot practice the law without it.
In the clip, Rambert pulled the score up on his laptop. He didn’t need to announce if he had passed. As Daniels looked over his shoulder her glance turned into cheers of happiness.
“Thank you, Lord, bless your mighty name,” Daniels shouted as fell to her knees in tears of joy.
Rambert covered his eyes as he started to tear up at his desk.
“The mission is accomplished, the bag is secured and this chapter is finished. Shoutout to the big guy upstairs for always holding it down! Officially passed the California Bar Exam,” Rambert said.
Daniels uploaded the video to her Instagram account where it received over 626,000 views.
“You have me in tears! So happy for you all!” one person commented.
“So heartfelt and touching,” another said.
“Rejoicing with you guys!” someone wrote.
