This is my favorite non-greasy hand cream to use during the winter

I’ve never been a fan of hand cream. From overly fragrant lotions to formulas that left my hands sticky, there have always been too many things I didn’t like about hand cream to incorporate one into my daily routine.

Because I wasn’t able to find a non-scented moisturizing option that didn’t leave a residue, I’ve spent quite a few winters with red, chapped hands. But thankfully, that changed when I was introduced to Nécessaire’s The Hand Cream.

Also available at Nécessaire and Sephora.

The Hand Cream is unlike any other hand product I’ve used. Why? It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my hands greasy at all. Not only does this thick and rich cream hydrate my winter-ravaged hands without any stinging, but it leaves them looking soft and supple, too.

According to its product description, this added cosmetic benefit is due to its formula which is “loaded with vitamins, omega fatty acids, squalane, and an age-defying peptide.” Nécessaire’s formula is also vegan, clean, hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin; it works to hydrate and protect your skin on contact.

The Hand Cream is now the very last step in my nighttime routine and has earned a permanent spot on my bedside table. After I crawl into bed, I love massaging my hands with the cream. It feels fancy and I appreciate knowing that I’ll wake up with moisturized hands that are ready for another cold day.

For $20, this is a beauty purchase that I have no trouble rationalizing.
