The Nodpod is like a weighted blanket for your eyes — and I can’t sleep without it

Thankfully, I have never been someone who struggles to fall asleep. My friends joke that I can fall asleep anywhere, any time — but it’s honestly more of a fact than a joke.

In short, I don’t try out many sleep-related products other than pajamas, but I am so glad I gave the Nodpod a shot.

The Nodpod is essentially a weighted blanket for your eyes. It’s a super plush eye mask that has four different pockets of non-scented beads that perfectly conform to your eyes. Plus, “the dual material design is cooling on one side, warm on the other.”

One of my favorite features is its pull-through slit for those wanting to keep it in place. Since you don’t have to mess with velcro or a button, there’s no hair pulling or uncomfortable parts to avoid.

When I first tried the Nodpod I wasn’t expecting much, but not only did it block out the annoying streetlights outside my window, it also brought me a wave of calm. The mask is incredibly comforting and ever since I started using it, I’ve been falling asleep even faster than before.

Whether you choose to cool it down in the freezer, use it when you meditate or make it part of your night routine, trust me when I say, you need this. And for a little over $30, it also makes a great holiday gift (hint, hint).
